Microblading is one of the most popular and common cosmetic procedures these days. For those who need a little reminder, here's a procedure that focuses on the look of your brows. That said, everyone is different and needs to improve the appearance of their brows, whether it's genetics, health issues, or just appearance.

Eyebrows are an essential part of facial expression—they provide much-needed definition to the eyes and are considered the windows to the soul. The more beautiful the eyes look, the more lively, youthful, and fresh the whole face looks. And here, well-defined brows can make all the difference.

Most commonly, people with thinning brows are looking for a way to make them look fuller. Well, microblading is the best option here and is also considered semi-permanent. It is also known as eyebrow tattooing to get the look you want, especially definition and texture. Microblading coloring lasts up to 3 years and uses a different tool (microblading) and a smaller amount of pigment than conventional tattooing processes.

Microblading technicians always strive to create a different brow look for their clients, which is expected and natural. Every face has a different face shape, eye placement, and eyebrows, and therefore, it requires a different eyebrow look and color.

Eyebrow color is mostly determined by the hair and eye color, as well as tan. They have to look natural and soft on the face, never too dominant, because in that case, the look will be contrived and strong. To create the perfect brow look, microblading technicians must use different color pigments that best suit the look of the character they are working on. For this, it is very important to mix the microblading pigments.

For better understanding, mixing paints should be understood as a creative process, just like mixing colors. When the right colors are mixed, there are more opportunities and options to achieve the most natural-looking shade. For example, a cappuccino and chocolate combo is best for blondes. These shades will also work well on dark brunettes with fair skin tones or neutral undertones. The same is true for other combinations, leading to a well-known conclusion: darker shades are achieved by using darker pigments, and lighter shades are achieved by using lighter shades of pigments.

On the other hand, there is an option to modify the base color of the shadow. Base colors are what change the base color, which is why these base colors are important in creating the final color. The use of orange pigment can change up red hair undertones and blend well with cappuccinos and other neutral undertones. Olive is perfect for people with medium-dark skin and pink undertones.

Before getting into the mixing process, there are some important things you need to know about microblading pigments, their care, and storage so they are in top condition when you mix them.

- Pigments should be sealed and stored in a cool and dark cabinet. It is recommended to always shake the bottle well to distribute the color properly.

- Using multiple colors in one process produces more realistic results, but also takes more time.

Each application of the pigment increases the color volume of the skin, i.e. it darkens with each application

- Only mix colors from the same manufacturer. Try not to mix paints from different brands.

- Dispose of any used paint as it may be contaminated with bacteria and/or bodily fluids.

So, all in all, mixing paint sounds like a fun creative, and artistic process. It does because microblading is an art. But the next question is how to mix these pigments correctly and achieve the desired shade.

Mixing paint can be a bit of a messy job, but it's also a very delicate affair because you have very little to do. As simple and basic as it may seem, every technician needs a few tricks to make their work better, faster, and more unique. Here are some unique and very useful tips and procedures that will help any artist become more proficient and become master of microblading paint mixing.

1. Follow these steps to get started: Remove the cap, place it on the spout, and shake well. This process will prevent the paint from spilling inside the cap and onto the sides. Repeat this process for all other paints you will be using.

2. It is very important to shake the paint before mixing. It should be shaken well, as this way it can mix, absorb and bond better with other pigments.

3. Paint should be poured approximately 3/4 of the way into the mixing cup. This ratio depends on the client's look and requirements, if these result in a permanently chosen color then you should remember the exact ratio and record it for next time.

4. Mixing paint with a special electric mixer is much better than using a toothpick or any other hand-mixing tool. Shades will blend better and more thoroughly if done with a special mixer. The duration of the mixing process should not exceed 15 seconds.

When all of this is done, the microblading process of mixing the pigments can begin. Pigment composition, mixing mixtures, and application are much better. Every stroke of the brows will even out the color and there will be no difference in the appearance of the brows.

The above describes the storage and mixing methods of microblading pigments. If you want to buy microblading pigments, please contact us.
